It is a big deal to announce a pregnancy to the expectant father. Expecting mothers are becoming increasingly creative in the way they tell the news to the soon-to-be-fathers. What this woman did to tell her husband that she was pregnant was completely out-of-the-box.
She contacted the department of the Hurst Police and asked if they could help. Her suspicious husband never knew what was going to happen …
One day, when they were pulled over by a policeman, Nikk and her husband drove down the highway. The husband was driving and became rather confused as to why he was flagged; he was not committing any offense as far as he was concerned.
He started fidgeting nervously with the radio settings until he was told to relax by Nikk. The pair discovered that they knew him as the policeman went up to the vehicle. It didn’t seem to calm down much of Nikk’s husband.
The policeman informed the husband why he was pulled over after a short exchange. “I gotta be honest. The reason why I stopped you is you have a child in the car with no child car seat,” the policeman said, pointing to an empty back seat. There was no child seat, it was true. But the husband didn’t see a child!
“I don’t have a child,” Nikk’s husband said. Repeatedly, the policeman asked him if he was certain, nodding toward Nikk. She was sitting in the seat of the passenger holding a pregnancy test. Nikk’s husband stared at her after several wordless prompts. “We do have a child in the car with no car seat!” Nikk exclaimed as she giggled at her husband.
The face of her husband illuminated the moment he realized, another policeman passed a donation bag with a teddy and a t-shirt confirming that he would quickly be a father.
